Some people like to do the math: That's 1x Intel Core i7 GPU, plus 1x ATI HD 6900 series, plus 1x SSD, plus one traditional SATA... that comes out to....

Just buy the biggest PSU on the market and know you aren't going to have to shell out more when you decide to go 2-way or 3-way crossfire.
They actually recommend a power supply of less than 500watt for my motherboard. If you run a setup that peaks at about 40watt then you are only being wasteful going with a massive power supply of more than a kilowatt. Personally I would like if they make more efficient and higher quality power supplies in the 100~200watt range.

A lower rated psu is simply a flimsier construction. You do get what you pay for with psus. Efficiency ratings are an indication of continuous power flow, but a unit with 80+ will be guaranteed to get the same efficiencies at 20% load up to 100% without fluctuating. A 1-200w psu would be made of tinfoil.

Gonna get me one of these as soon as they have stock in SA. Seems like finally they are building quality sub 400watt power supplies with 80 plus efficiency : http://www.anandtech.com/show/3902/a...80d-green-380w

The board's actually too big for the case. lol. It's resting over the gap where the cables are supposed to go & sitting on one of the case's support struts, which I put some insulation tape on, so it doesn't short out. Gonna switch to either an armor revo or cosmos 2.... soon
