I received a telkom ad and on the ad was a USB internet radion device.

The feutures are:

• Plug and play via USB port
• Simple installation & embedded software
• Thousands of radio stations worldwide on your PC
• Direct recording of music to your hard drive
• Multiple search options

I want to know, do i have to be connected to the internet, and if so should i be using telkom internet?

I had a similar idea some years ago, my idea was to put a radio device inside a flasdrive. That way u can listen to the radio while ur waiting for pages to load on the internet.. Lol

But they can only identify song names from web radio stations, who alreaddy include information about artist etc. Rather useless application feature imo.
