Yes, that is snow on the beach of the Mediterranean see.
Why yes, my one eye is bigger than the other. Thanks for pointing that out.

I was in Italy for the weekend to go snowboarding and I saw it was snowing on the beaches in Italy as well.. kinda crazy. They are calling it the "Siberian Winter" on the radio over here. I'm loving it though

    Yeah, nice shots.

I've got to gear up soon and head to the kings vs stormers match.

Its been a while since I had a chance to play around with my camera, so yesterday afternoon I went out to get some sunset pics.
Sunset faded to night, and I got to experiment with some long exposure pics. I was quite happy with my 1st attempt, but there will be more attempts soon.
I stuggled to get pics of the sun actually setting as either it results in everything else becoming pitch black, or the sky being totally blown out. I need to find a way to balance it out.

This is my favourite pic that I actually got just after the sun set.

I got this one by chance while I was metering off different spots. It seems to be more of a hit and miss when it comes to exposing these pics, but like the rest, I will fiddle around with the settings when I get another chance

This was my best attempt at a long exposure shot. The others all had something that I didnt like about it, its just a pity that more cars didnt pass by while the shutter was open for this one.

This one was taken while the sun was still up, and even though the sky is blown out, at least the reflections on the glass make up for it. Practice makes perfect when it comes to sunsets I guess...

Took this at the beach for a Sunday morning treat for the dogs.

Let me know what you think.
Fairly new to DSLR photography - shooting with the Canon 600D, with 18-55mm kit lens.

    Thanks in advance.

Nice pics. If you're looking for a way to cover a dynamic range that exceeds the capabilities of your camera HDR is the obvious answer.
