Lol. I wouldn't call that promoting them
But yeah, had a similiar problem a while ago trying to get the drivers to install on the 64bit win7 version. Can't install the drivers as they aren't digitally signed therefore MS just tells em to go fsck themselves.
Win 7 beta's had problems with usb. you have to use the RTM retail version.
Thanks will try that!I used the drivers from the original Neotel CD and it worked.
Install the drivers from the CD, then restart the PC and plug the device in, detects away and works like a dream.
Since it's a USB device, the above 'procedure' is what you do for everything.
Install drivers/software FIRST then plug device in... remember that boet!
I dunno whats going on. Not sure if i did something wrong when i first installed, this is what i did: I put on the laptop. I put in the Neotel CD and installed it. I plugged in the phone USB (it then says drivers not installed properly). Since then no luckDon't know how you could NOT get it working.
I have 7 Ultimate 64-bit and I used the drivers from the CD, previously on my 'cracked' copy of 7, I used the drivers from the Neotel web site, both worked without any hassles.
Did you ever install the drivers from neotel's site? They are version 1.9 (i think) while the one on the cd is an earlier version which won't work with Windows 7.I dunno whats going on. Okay so that didnt work. I phone Neotel and ask for windows seven drivers: one lady tells me that they are still working on it and its not available as yet and another tells me i should dl the 64 bit drivers from the Neotel website (anyone did this)
