I'm sure others here will gladly pay for a copy of your work too.
That'll cut into all of my drinking time

Thanks and yes I will be keeping it updated - I'll do my best to touch on it at least once a week if I can.

Update - busy updating the spreadsheet with SAINET at the moment, should be ready later today.

Mmm I don't think I'll go any further at the moment with any DSL ISP based offerings after SAINET for the moment, as I think those already listed, cover most of the bigger ISP's.
Though still haven't added Openweb yet, so will have to do them after SAINET is done...

After Openweb, I'll be branching out into Wireless ISP's and offerings like 3G, Wimax and iBurst.

Umm, just a few points I noticed:

    1) AXXESS's basic packages use the IS backbone and are SEMI-shaped.

    2) Cybersmart's one-price ADSL uses UNshaped bandwidth according to their web site (for the 384k and 512k speeds, 4mb is R99 per gig for unshaped - http://faq.cybersmart.co.za/index.ph...=36&artlang=en)

yep. there was big controversy a few months back as they changed form SAIX to IS semi-shaped without informing customers. Caused a bit of a stir at the time.

Check the web page, they are using semi-shaped:

Why not put the spreadsheet on google docs so that we can follow the progress in real time as you are updating the sheet? (only drawback is for those with local-only bandwidth)

I do it at the office most of the time and Google Doc's is blocked from here.
So when I'm done with it, I'll be mailing it off to rpm and asking him to add it as an attachement again.

I don't spend enough time infront of the PC at home to do it - too restless.
So when having a slow day - which happens alot - I find time to do this... and a lot of other stuff

Glad to hear Openweb is in the mix.

It's a minefield out there! Thanks for the metal detector
