Default I need wheels for my office chair.

I have a old exec office chair but four of the nylon/plastic wheels are buggered, the castor assembly is fine. Where can I get just the nylon wheels, I dont need the entire castor assembly as they simply click in place.

    Wheel diameter = 50mm
    Shaft/Axel diameter = 6mm
    Notch in shaft = 4mm

Anyone got any lying around or know where I can get some?

I doubt you will get even the same type of castor assembly. I've searched many times before, and never could get the right ones. But you can get office chair wheels at most of the bigger hardware stores, builders warehouse will have. Only thing is most of them come in packs of 4 wheels, so you have to buy 2 packs, and it is not cheap.

Someone would make a fortune fixing these expensive, but dodgy office chairs.

Builder's warehouse stocks these, just take a sample along cause there's a variety available. I fixed one of my chairs this way.

Wheels are essential for the ‘Execuglide’ manoeuvre. This is when you scoot between PC’s on your chair. A strong case can be made to management for a new chair.

This is not counting office chair racing when the boss is out. That can be hard on wheels.
