I see neotel has launched a new prepaid service today?

Looks interesting. Suprised theres no articles on it!

Just saw it on the Neotel website also. Just wish the bundle was slightly larger (maybe starting at 2 gigs)
 
Bit pricey for 1.5GB... that's R159 / GB if you buy the device upfront?
 
You can't beat the 8c per MB out of bundle rate though. Compared to other 3G offerings that's an awesome price!
 
Great Product launch by Neotel, this is what we wanted in the first place.

Just hope Tower Congestion doesn't become one of the biggest problems now with what I presume so much more people signing up.

You thought you were struggling for your little share of bandwidth before this. Things are about to get a whole lot different :D

Yeah, probably, but only if Neotel can't get their act together now that the Seacom cable is live.

The Seacom cable has 10 times the bandwidth capacity of the SAT-3 cable and Neotel's holding company, Tata, is the "anchor tenant" and/or "majority shareholder" on it.

So if Neotel messes up any further, despite having this major Tata/Seacom advantage, they'll have nobody but themselves to blame...
 
Hmmm - can I get the device and use it on my existing NeoFlex package via my laptop when at the office? - that would be great!
