Thread: Dashboard with 3G phone

  1. #1

    Default Dashboard with 3G phone

My Vodacom4me account does not show my 3G data bundle usage (even though I've been connected for about a week now).

Does the dashboard only come with a 3G card? Can I get the dashboard via my 3G phone?

I am also in an area which seems to alternate between 2 towers, one which is GPRS and the other is 3G - is there an external antenna for a 3G phone to increase the 3G signal?

AFAIK the "dashboard" is a software app that is installed with the drivers etc for the 3G Data Card (PCMCIA).

About your data usage not showing on the vodacom4me.co.za site, that's a question for v3g, but do you go directly through Vodacom or one of the many service providers (maybe something 1st has to be done by your SP)?

    Hi,

You bought a data bundle on strapped it onto your normal contract and are using a phone as a 3G modem?

And you registered on vodacom4me but cannot see your data usage being updated?

If so, won't you PM me? I'd like to get your login details and check it out for you.
