Thread: no 3G coverage in Sunset Beach

  1. #1

Default no 3G coverage in Sunset Beach

Bad luck, can only get 3 bars GPRS in Sunset Beach, not fast enough for the type of work I need to do.

With ADSL not being available and the wireless provider not being reliable, I am still forced to keep trying to find something that will give me real broadband speed and reliability in Sunset Beach ..

I want to try an antenna with the datacard though, I emailed the address v3g quoted yesterday, but no response yet.

Does anyone know where I could pick one up?

Are you on the left or right hand side of the Engen petrol station (facing the beach)? I'll take a drive tomorrow and check the signal in the area

Umm... The tech I spoke to at Vodashop Brooklyn told me they an antenna for the datacard free to any current datacard owners.

So I recommend you just go to a vodashop and ask.

There are third party add-ons that might be a whole lot better. But if you get one free... Why not?

North of the Petrol station, close to the beach,

I can get one bar on UMTS from the second story balcony, so I want to get a good antenna and try!

First get your free antenna and try... then you can go out and buy yourself one
