Can anyone find out if/when the SE Z800 will find its way to SA under the MTN banner? I don't fancy the Vodafone-branded V800, and would love to stay with MTN, having been with them for the last 4 years.

"The phone will appear in the end of April, the beginning of May" to quote Mobile-Review.com . I would probably expect it in SA in 6 to 8 Months time.

Ta. I've been following the phone's progress since CeBit 2005. Reckon it's an awesome phone.
Here's something I haven't seen around here: Is MTN going to support Video calls, and if so, when and how much?

Hi,
We should see the Z800 available during the month of June barring any unplanned technical problems. Vodafone have an exclusive arrangement for the V800 which expires around the time frames indicated by Retnox.
Thx, MTNHS. I'm not interested in the V800 - far too much red for me.Besides, the Z800 is an improvement on the V800.

MTNBB, can you give us an answer on this, or is it too early to tell?Originally Posted by Raithlin

I had a quick chat with BB.
We are definitely going to be supporting video calls, but the rates have not yet been finalised. They will be announced as soon as they have been finalised.
Ok, thanks. For costs I can look at Vodacom. Experience tells me your costs will be pretty much the same. Unless of course you surprise us.![]()
