Needed: Afrihost ADSL Support Rockstars needed to join our team

Hey All

Sorry if this is not the best place to post this (Tried to start a thread in the Classifieds/Jobs section but couldn't)

Hoping you can help if you know someone who'd be interested?

As you probably know we launched an ADSL data package special at R29/GB last week Tuesday (We want to change ADSL in SA!) and they've been snapped up at an incredible rate.

To be honest we vastly underestimated the demand for our ADSL and our current team have been working incredibly hard to make sure we help out our new clients giving them the levels of service we'd like to.

However, our support has not been quite as rapid fire as we'd like even though our guys have been putting in 20 hour days.

In order to make sure that we keep up to our standards of delighting clients with our support and service we need to hire new ADSL support technician rockstars ASAP!

Would help if you gave a ballpark package/salary figure.
This would also eliminate going through applications of people who would not have applied had they known what the renumeration was.

The starting salary is R6500 gross (with free ADSL provided at home)

We will obviously look at each applicant's qualifications and are happy to pay more if they're worth it!

@Pooky - Every bit of experience helps - the more the better

However, we will consider all applicants - If you have a great attitude towards helping people and some basic ADSL knowledge then you are welcome to apply!

Jeez, not trying to be funny, but if that's what support people get paid I'm not surprised it's so difficult to find decent support people. You can earn more than that working in a restaurant or bar.

***. I know junior developers that still earn less than that. Its a tough time.

The reality is that for these types of positions there's not going to be much difference between the starting salary on offer and the actual salary, no matter how much experience you have.
