Router compatible with Huawei K3715?

Hi there,

I have a Huawei K3715 HSDPA modem. I currently use my Windows desktop PC to share the connection (Vodacom) across my network. It works great! But now I need to get rid of my PC, but I still need to have the connection on my network (laptops, gaming consoles etc).

I have been searching for compatible router all over the net, but no website seems to answer my question directly. The Vodacom outlets in my area are generally clueless on this topic, and I want to avoid driving all the way to Vodaworld to ask this question:

Which Vodacom compatible HSDPA router is compatible with my Huawei K3715 modem? And where can I get one?

D-Link DIR-451. Try online retailers, or check their site to see the distributors in South Africa.
 
Check out the Draytek Vigor range. I think someone mentioned success with the Dovado range as well.

B970 rocks! It's a router so it should work with any device. Main thing with 3G (or any wireless technology) is latency, it will always be higher than ADSL. So FPS can be an issue but best to let the gamers comment. :)
 
Hehe: I've been playing Xbox over 3G for years, the latency just depends on which game I'm playing, the newer ones seem to be better.

Weather permitting of course ;)

I think I'll side step in to a store and pick one up tomorrow. Thanks.
 
The Netgear MBR624GU 3G Router (Digital Planet) should also do the trick.

I'm using two of them with E220's and one with another Vodafone stick (forgotten the code).

I think that the K3715 is on the compatible list.
