    Default blackberrry bis....

Hi there, I got my blackberry curve last friday and got it activated today, it doesnt look like my bis is activated because the gprs thingy in the corner is in small letters. How do I activate it? I tried http://mobileemail.vodafonesa.co.za/ but it says im not registered or something I must got to the getting started page. And also could I use my gmail account on the bis? Bis is absolutely free? I can facebook mxit etc the whole day? Just want to be 100% sure dont want to get a big bill at the end of the month, thanks alot.

NOT sure if this is of any help but when I first went to the site (using MTN but I think it works the same?) ... I was also told that the Handset was not registered blah blah and that I had to do the following:
Click Menu Button (at homescreen) -> Click on Options -> Click on Advanced options -> Click on Host Routing Table -> Click Menu Button (options will pop up) -> Click on Register Now ...
After a short while I received a confirmation that the handset was registered with the service provider.
I then continued to register again on the BIS website and all went smoothly after that

I put an MTN prepaid card in mine and so I can monitor what it charges for ...
so far ... yes MXit and Facebook and browsing (via handset) is free.
Tried youtube and while browsing youtube is free, watching the video's is being charged! so be careful of that.
I too would like one of the BB Guru's to give us newbies a rundown of whats free and whats not for us newbies ... maybe a website perhaps (relative to us south africans )

Hope that helps ... that info is just from my ONE day experience so far ... lol ... I'm on day two now

Good luck and enjoy your BB!
PS. Please share anything of relavance that you learn also!
