    Arrow THE BEST MP3/Music cleaner?

*EDIT* MediaMonkey gets the job done easily and efficiently *EDIT*

    Hi guys,
I have been collecting my music for about 5 years now and my collection is a bit messy. I have some doubles, some songs where there is wrong info. And some songs with bad 'tags' and I want a clean collection. I would prefer if the app was free but don't mind paying a bit if it really works. It must just make sure it gives the right name, artist and album. And delete doubles.

    Also if it could have:
    1) Album Art would be nice.
    2) My music is in lots of folders(in one large music folder), so if it could re-arrange them so there are only artists folders with inside it has album folders.

    Thanks and let me know.

PS: If I have to use multiple programs I don't mind.

i have the same problem with songs and doubles but i don't understand how any of these programs wok so i end up either leaving it or deleting the files one by one.

+1, also going to check it out... For some reason I see myself having to put some hours/days if it does screw up.

I use MusicBrainz Picard and it is great as it validates tags against a massive online database. Been using it for quite a while and very happy with it.

You can use Musicbrainz right now to automatically identify and label your music files — all you have to do is download and run a MusicBrainz enabled tagger.

Seconded. It's pretty darn good for retrieving info. For other stuff use Mp3tag as above.

can you highlight all your songs so it does it or is it only by album?

Download it and try it. You can highlight all the songs but you might pick up false positives. Their database is huge!
