Well done. Think I will also attempt something like this in the future.

I don't have any Itona's but I have some other's (IBM's, HP, Itium), the problem is they are lower specced, not as feature rich as the Itona and lack the functionality that is needed to build this like IDE ports (they run off internal flash memory). Until I can get the other's to boot to a Linux distro like SLAX where I can get a kiosk mode to boot directly to browser. You are going to struggle. Thin clients are dirt cheap and I'm suprised they are not as widespread in SA as in other developing economies.

I'll see if I can get the other's to boot to flash drive. Then let it run off the flash.

How? I'm not selling anything. ratemyisp.co.za has long ago been moved over to realreviews.co.za. No third party advertisng on ratemyisp.co.za.

I did it to make things happen. For entertainment. To give other's ideas.

This is very very cool. Rate My ISP, thanks, I really enjoyed your thread

One question though. Do these Thin Clients have any MiniPCI slots or something similar to add an NIC? If not, are USB NIC's available?

My trail of thought leads me somewhere with the options....
