I have an Orbitrek bought 2nd hand but it broke, nothing major, just a big screw thing came out but the screw part is smoothed out due to use
Who could possibly fix such a machine for me?
Any ideas please???![]()

Is the thread of the screw smooth or the thread of the whole it screws into?
So it's stripped?
Any engineering shop should be able to help you out if you are diy challenged.

that's the word i was looking for, the thread on the bolt AND the thing it goes into is a bit messed up, doesnt line up etc
So who can I contact and yes i AM DIY challenged
cos that's the only thing that's wrong with it :-(
please help
can you use the thing without the bolt, or would it break off at high speeds causing you to paddle through your front door into the traffic?
but maybe a hardware store can help you? provide you with a new bolt and something to fix the other thing?
A Hardware store! Exactly!
That's what i'll do, thanks so much for all the advice / info![]()
OK....what is orbitrek, and why is there a screw in it?
***Internet ??? what is it ???***
I think all you need is a new screw & that hole needs to be re-tapped.
