Default Zuma to announcce policy shift

Cant wait to hear what this is! People have been SO caught up with who Zuma is bonking and not keeping an eye on what matters...

Cape Town - President Jacob Zuma will indicate a change in industrial policy in his state of the nation address, but leave an expected announcement on monetary policy to the National Treasury, Minister in the Presidency Collins Chabane said on Thursday.

Chabane said Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan was best placed to deal with the issue of the mandate of the South African Reserve Bank when he tabled his budget on Wednesday.

"When the minister of finance tables his budget, in the context of the budget and the economy as it is, he is likely to make an indication on the issues likely to confront that institution."

Whatever he says is not something he'd have come up with all on his own. The man is a puppet on a string - and he was elected for that purpose... So yeah, we will continue to only focus on his zipper. I'd rather read about what he said. Plus I don't like the way he reads the speeches, it's abundantly clear he's reading someone else's thoughts.

Wow! Two people, so far, that are more concerned with who the President is sleeping with, than a policy shift that is bound to affect their lives directly??

So true, I won't bother to watch. I can't stand the man, and can't listen to the d0*s for more than 10s so I'd rather just read about it tomorrow morning.

    Yip, now there are three.
The theoretical capacity of a Boeing 747 filled with Blu-ray Discs is 595,520,000 Gigabytes, resulting in a 245,829 Gbit/s flight from New York to Los Angeles.

That's what the press are focusing on. I for one will take a look at his policy changes. Hopefully it will be good news for a change

I hope so too, however I have a sneaky suspision its about the exchange rate. With the recession AND the appreciating Rand some of the largest industries in the country have taken a beating. But its not going to be good news for consumers and importers.

It's the ANC's policy shift, Zuma is just their spokesman.

Oh well, looks like we have to wait for Rob Davies to deliver his speech to hear about this "Indutrial Policy Action Plan".

Next up is Pravin. Poor dude has to find the money to spend on ALL the promises that Zuma made last night...
