Has vodacom given us free upgrades during the trial?
tested this a couple of times and the speed seems to be constant.

What device are you using?

Wow...that is very cool. But I want to know the same answer as morkhans. What device? We have not yet started issuing devices capable of those speeds. The fastest modem we have @ the mo is 7.2mbps and for those modems to reach thos speeds you need a advanced bundle as Vodacom have not yet migrated clients to the 7.2 profile as default?
Theres no device available in SA yet capable of those speeds?
Has joined the Cell C Revolution... Whoosh!!
B970
Good question? is the b970 even capable of this speed, if not, whats going on with speedtest.net?
Just tested again slightly slower but still 10 odd Mb/s

B970 is capable of 7.2 only by default. Not sure if this is pumped up with a firmware update. Have you dont any updates on it?
What does speed.vodacom.co.za give you?

How long does your cap last?
Vodacom speed test results
Lmao download 0.60Mb/s Upload 0.67 Mb/s with a ping of 334
second test 0.47Mb/s upload 0.45Mb/s ....
Huge difference....
I wonder why the big difference?
Never been this fast before, so not sure. Can't see the point of 13 MB/s with what vodacom charges for its bandwidth though. Rather have good pings
Makes you wonder though, do the hardware manufactures throttle their devices to make us buy a new one every time there is an upgrade to the network, or are the devices genuinely only capable of the advertised speeds.
Those tests must be costing you a fortune.
