Im fortunate to be very close to my tower, so I get 100% signal strength and good QoS. My ingame latencies are just as good as on ADSL.
how you downloading those files?
Use MetaProducts Download Express as often as possible, but sometimes the standard IE 'Save File' is the only option at times. For some reason, Firefox sometimes is a little quicker.
There are multiple base stations in Kempton and no generic issue in the area. Can you please PM me your UTIDs and we can investigate further.
Apologies, I haven't been on the forums today and only logged in now. Cape Town had an issue this morning with one of the redundant links. The redundant links confused themselves and required one of the engineers to rectify the situation. Apologies for the inconvenience - we are monitoring the situation.
International connectivity is down since last night. I can only get max of 3KB/sec for int'l sites but local sites download at full speed (100KB/sec). Something is wrong with iBurst's international link.

Most the towers in Kempton are on load 3, hazman what area in Kempton are you in?
there are 1-2 towers with min load just depends where you are to connect to them.
I had to get a 3m mast installed to get back to the original signal I was getting last year.
@HazMan: Use a flat panel antenna on mast. Before the mast was put up I got better signal from my omni but it kept jumping between towers, not good for gaming.
I have asked our support people to double check international speeds in Cape Town. Can you please post examples?
