I'm gonna go with 'No' - mine didn't even spend 2 hours on charge before I couldn't contain myself any longer & started mucking around. The battery life for the first 3 days or so SUUUUUUUUUUCKED, but I now get to the end of the working day with about 60% remaining with moderate to heavy use.

According to some chap on xda-developers, he's now up to 4 days' running on one charge. I don't know if I'll ever see that, but it's definitely improving.

Is there any difference in the local and imported versions except for the warranty? The place has stock of imported (warranty for 12 months) now and will only receive stock of the local ones on friday (24 months warranty). Really really want it now

Yes...yes... my baby has arrived. One and a half days from order to delivery. Must just now try and figure everything out. My first time with a touchscreen. I was told to use phone until battery goes flat and then just charge until it's full.

The little book that came with mine said charge for three hours.

I ordered mine on Monday at 15:08, got the phone on Tuesday at 09:57... less than 4 working hours!!! seriously quick!!!!

It's Thursday today, and I am still loving this phone!!! It's my first Android phone, and it's so easy to use and learn!!! I am a very happy customer!!!!!

Same here. Got mine in 2 days, and am super super impressed so far! One gripe that I have had with Smartphones in recent years was that it was firstly a gadget with access to email, interwebz, contacts, cameras and music, and lastly... almost as an after thought there was a phone included. This one however, the phone feature is rock solid and works so well compared to my previous "phones"... :-)

V&A waterfront Vodashop has stock. Dude that works there offered to keep me one but I am in no huge rush to upgrade or get a new phone. Am still leaning towards a blackberry bold 9700.
