Following up on the news article "Broadband wars will threaten DSTV Pay TV" (http://www.mybroadband.co.za/vb/show...en-DSTV-Pay-TV) I'd like to know where we can watch free streaming TV online.

    1. Hulu (www.hulu.com) - you need to watch it through a VPN service like Hide My Ass (www.hidemyass.com/vpn). I found it to buffer a lot.
    2. Tvgorge (www.tvgorge.com) - recently been shut down
    3. YouTube (www.youtube.com) - not really what I have in mind but I believe you can watch the IPL live.

Please add to the list ...

The problem in South Africa is - poor connection/line quality! If the 8mbit line works as promised, you should be able to watch the equivalent of DSTV HiDef (720p). Internet TV is going to takeoff in the next few years - BIG TIME ! And yes, I am talking about South Africa. Ofcourse, you need a cheap, uncapped AND unshaped account before you even think about proper internet tv.
Tonight I tried many of the above suggestions and in most cases I got buffering, spoiling the experience. My line synchs at 3 Mbps and I am using an Axxess Uncapped Express+ package.

Thanks to HTC_guy I'm now watching Super14 Lions vs Highlanders live at Justin.tv (http://www.justin.tv/projektvanillascented#r=dW6snI0~) Good enough quality! (sound and visual).
