Hey neio - contextualise a bit for the non-Afrikaans speakers. Direct translation would be 'she puts a skip in my cudgel' which wouldn't make much sense. I can think of quite a few contextual interpretations, but leave it to you to elaborate *chuckle*

I must admit that most afrikaans sayings are pretty funny & often very true, when I understand them that is.
It's one of those expressions that gets lost in translation.
