Why is 3G going at the dial up speeds of 384kbps

Wow, you must have been the happiest dialup user ever. I wish I got 384kbps when I was on dialup.

Profile 3. GPRS (100kbps)

100 / 12 = 9KB/s, therefore 150000/9 = 16666sec, therefore 16666/60 = 278min = 4hrs & 38min = 150MB.
Time left = 19hrs 22min or 19.3 x 60 = 1158min x 60 = 69480sec. Then 128 / 12 = 11KB/s, therefore 11 x 69480 = 764.280MB + 150MB = 914.28MB or ~0.93GB

To my surprised after being promised by mtn to have the 1-Day Unlimited (New) R50 launched last sunday on the 4th of April and today seem like we just got ourselves set for another disappointment .

MTN4u... When I phone the call centre, they do not know what I'm talkin' 'bout. Let me wait for like 10mins, while reading off the site.

I got through and the guy I spoke to said there is a delay and it will only be some time next week.

Hopefully imminent... Something like -
Vodacom: Uncapped for 1 week at R100. First 3 1/2 days get full handsets speed. Then remaining 3 1/2 days throttle to 128kbps would be a good deal. An option to switch between normal mode and uncapped mode after the first 3 1/2 days would be good.
This would be a innovative and good deal.

After I have used up this R50 MTN can go to hell and stick there service up where the sun dont shine... They have moved the date from the 28 Mach to 4 April then to the 6 April and then to the 9 April and just got off the phone with the call centre super sorry it in now moved to the 19 April so I told the super maybe 19 April 2020

I called 1555 data support and they said sometime in May. I wouldn't hold my breath for this service.
