I urgently need help.
Family of mine got ADSL on Sunday (Telkom installing on Sunday!). Despite my best efforts they listened to Telkom and bought the Telcrap Ethernet Router. Problem is they have Linksys WRT54G router that needs to share the Internet connection with all the client PCs.
I have the exact same setup exept for a DLink ADSL modem. I just plugged in the DLink modem in the WAN port of the Linksys router and everything just worked. Problem is that this does not work with the Telcrap Modem.
Now according to my limited understanding the problem is that the Telcrap is not a modem but a Router. So now we have 2 routers. Continueing with my understanding, the router that is hosting the connection should be the gateway and the other router should not.
If my understanding is correct, how do I setup the Telcrap router so that it acts as a normal modem so that I can plug it into the WAN port on the Linksys router to enable wireless Internet sharing?
