TopTV uses a different satellite to Dstv so the dish has to be realigned - you cannot get Dstv and Top TV off the same dish.

I just have one question about the R499 introductory price, does that price include the dish I will need for TopTV? I know it includes the decoder and installation, but where is it mentioned that the dish is also included in that price?
Can someone please post examples of what is on the Top channels, especially Top One and Top Movies? We have all seen what is on the Fox channels, but nothing on the home grown channels.
And how do the channels handle content filmed in 16x9? Are any of the channels 16x9, or do they show content zoomed into 4x3, or is it shown in letterbox on a 4x3 screen?

My account is activated and my installation date is booked. I chose the full package and will be paying by EFT. According to the consultant payment by EFT is due by the 1st of every month. When will I receive an invoice for this month to know how much to pay and into which account? If I haven't payed my account for May, will my account be active after the installation?
Any feedback from someone that went the EFT route would be appreciated.
I also want to use the EFT payment method, but I want tax invoices e-mailed to me (which DSTV never sends even by post).
I asked that specific question and was told to pay via EFT no later than the 5th of the month. Otherwise they disconnect you and a R50 reconnection fee will apply.

24 hours will not be enough time for an EFT payment from a bank other than the STD Bank. I also doubt that STD Bank will process payments instantaneously from other STD Bank accounts (AFAIK STD Bank is quite inefficient).
Surely they could make it 48 hours or start the subscription in a suspended status which only gets activated when the first payment is received?

Do you have to pay pro-rata. I mean they only provide the darn box on the 1st and there is a queue for installers, so nearly everyone will miss out on a few days or more of viewing.
you pay pro rata my payment for full package was R234.05 todayu
I am assuming they will provide the billing amount and account details on activation of my smart card. Tried the SMS number for activation just after 10pm. Hoping they call early tomorrow.
