    standard double garage with dbl automated door and single window by law as follows

    6x6m = 36m2
    linear walling 24m
    roofplate height 2.4m
    walling area 24m x 2.4m =57.6
    less door opening 4.8m x 2.1m = 10m2
    +-47m2 of walling
    dbl skin = 110bricks per sqm (total 5170)
    sgl skin = 55 bricks per sqm (2600)excl pillars

    depending on roof type, plinth height etc you are looking at R1800 to About R2000sqm
    Any other questions, ask

    I see that people are posting links to steel frame developments website http://www.steelfd.co.za/ .
    I strongly advise you not to use this company as they are a bunch that don't have a clue what they doing.
    They use inferior material and refuse to repair faults that are pointed out.
    Please do not make the same mistake I did. All that they are good at is their sales pitch.
