HTC Hero cant get MMs From Xpera X10

Hi I’m new to the forum so forgive me if this is in the wrong place .Anyway I’ve got an expera x10 and the wife’s got an htc Hero we live in South Africa and are on the same network Vodacom(Vodafone) both of us can send and receive MMS with friends and family which include LG’s, Nokia’s and BB .Now here’s the strange part i can get mms’s from the Hero to my x10 but when i send an mms to the hero from the x10 all you get is an download icon and all it downloads is a grey screen. I searched the web but couldn’t find anything related. As usual nobody at Vodacom have a clue what’s going on and I wonder if someone out there can help please ???????

if the x10 cant receive the mms, i would think it has something to do with the x10.

try an update, and doublecheck all settings

Its actully the hero that doesn't get the mms,and if the settings are wrong why does it recieve messages from other phones?

are you sending the same mms from the x10 to different phones when testing. I know on some networks there is 300kb limit for mms, maybe that could be the problem?

Yes i did post on xda,not that nice if you can send mms to everyone except your wife and iv'e been battling for almost two weeks now,if anybody wants to know i don't think one employee of Vodacom ever heard of Android :-( :-( ,anyway they were all below 300kb

edit: someone replied to the first post on XDA saying he has no problems sending mms from x10 to hero

makes me wonder are you guys on voda branded x10s?
