Hi can anyone tell me if the Motorola V3 Razor is EDGE enabled, I see some guys say it is others say it is not, hopefully MTN Handsets can answer this ?

When you speak to the sales guys at the SP's they don't seem to understand what EDGE is and why I am so interested in tapping into this service. :rolleyes:
 
When I looked nto it, the answer was no. Might have changed, cos that was 4-5 months ago
 
Answer is a definite no.

New models are coming out with it but it might be Asia only as far as I understand. The newer model is cool, has a decent camera and space.

it looks cool and all but its rather featureless... and expensive for what it has
 
The Razr will play and record clips in 3gp format.
I have the (modded) video camera enabled and it works a treat.
7Mb free memory after i hacked/ modded the **** out of it. my Razr rocks.
 
Everyone got to this before me! All correct - the V3 being distributed in SA is not EDGE enabled.
 
Has anyone heard anything about the Motorola V3x? Apparently it was previously known as the v1150, and is UMTS enabled with a card slot, video calling and 2mp camera.

Will this phone ever make it to SA, I wonder? Would be great to have.
