My first attempt at customizing my new S2. Non-rooted, with ICS.
Only need two screens, don't like spending 5 minutes flipping between screens![]()

Yep! I love this default theme, the icons look very similar to the desktop icons I use for my Fedora machines (this one: http://tiheum.deviantart.com/art/Faenza-Icons-173323228), I love the square uniform icons as it makes everything look a lot more orderly
Only issue I had so far was trying to find my location on the weather widget, took me a while as it doesn't list Cape Town but I found "Bellville" which does the job fine.

Simple and functional, very nice.
I totally agree, although I like to keep a balance so I usually use three screens.
I love what you've done with your layout. Everything fits together perfectly - wallpaper, icons and widgets.
Here's some of my SGS2 running Windows XP :-P
Ok Ok this is just this: http://www.xda-developers.com/androi...thout-windows/
But it's good for trolling people ;-)
Ok enough of XP lol, here's my normal Home screen, I do have a screen either side of this shotw with my widgets and apps i frequent.

Thanx, I actually made it just for the demonstration on what mixing could do with MIUI. I think that one was 3 different themes mixed, and the wallpaper was from a Google image search using a color filter.
Bit slow?http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthre...8Not-really%29

Ok, running stock ICS on my Samsung Galaxy S2 :
Lockscreen
Homescreen
Not so sure about this wallpaper, as I really fancy it, but my sis reckons it looks too "busy". Oh well, can't please everyone.![]()
The Samsung Galaxy S2 - It is the only phone you will ever need.
Decided to give the clock a more modern and ICS look....
What I've used :
1. Stock ICS 4.0.3 ROM from Vodacom
2. Nova Launcher Prime
3. Fancy widgets
4. ICS keyboard, which you can't see.
*I can't root my ROM, otherwise my DSTV Drifta won't work....but really no desire to do so, these added apps make my phone simply fantastic.
