Hmm sounds good, but how do you send your phone an sms, if the thief has already swopped your sim card with another. you wouldnt know the number to sms to?

then it wouldnt work obviously. but you could then blacklist the phone by calling your service provider you bought the phone from.

A decent anti-theft program would allow you to control it over the internet and would tell you the number of its new SIM via SMS or the internet.

See my old thread on phone tracking:

It's quicker and less hassle to go and see a sangoma and cast a spell on the phone's new owner, and probably more effective too...

wavesecure seems not to be working very well. it wont lock my phone, it says that it is busy locking it but never does, even put on my gps and still nothing??? i really want to purchase it if it worked

it did work the first time i tries though, it locked and tracked it perfectly but not anymore

So what the next best option??? should have the same/better features

Shah33m, depends what phone you have. See my thread for a list of tracking software for various phones:

I use a Program called Prey on my Android phone, which is free.

im using HTC Desire, i really like wavesecure because i can monitor/manage my phone online which prey does not?

any other recommendation that allows for online monitoring?
also must the gps be activated in order to get location in wavesecure, or does it enable gps automatically?
