10 Mbps ADSL upgrades start this weekend

Heh, my exchange also supports 10Mb. But max I can get is about 4.5Mbps, anything higher, my connection becomes unstable.

There is more then 1 dslam at the exchange, and although it seems the checkers looks only at the exchange as a whole it does not target your exact number and dslam.
The option is to wait until your dslam is upgraded or ask that your line is moved to a 10mb dslam , but depends if ports are available and there might be costs involved.

I went thru the same experience, hence knowing this bit.
