We don't care about the 20 000 lucky few who will be able to get 10mb. What about the 620 000 other adsl users. We need answers! When will it be our turn![]()
When you're willing to pay more? Unless you're too far from the exchange in which case there's not much you can do.We don't care about the 20 000 lucky few who will be able to get 10mb. What about the 620 000 other adsl users. We need answers! When will it be our turn![]()

Woah, pay more? What you're paying for this upgrade now? Oh, you're not? So what makes you so special that you should be entitled to free upgrades while the rest of us "peasants" get stuck in the slow lane? Not all of us can afford the higher speed and ISP packages... should that disqualify us from a bump in speed?
I don't think so!
Precisely. Bwana, with respect: that post makes you sound like a telkom apologist...
BTW... bwana is stuck out in the bundus and will not get more than 384 in a long time!!!
I don't believe there should be any offerings below 1mb/s but I dont see telkom disbanding 384 anytime soon because that is the lowest speed they're allowed to call broadband (thanks ICASAWoah, pay more? Because it's *up to* 10Mbps, Gary. When they finally decide to upgrade 384 and 512 you could always drop down to the cheapest package that comes close to your current speed. What about us 4 mbps users who won't get the upgrade? Why should we have to pay the same price that some guys are paying for 8 mbps or more?
