We thought about this, but really it involves more work which we have little of.
We have worked out a quick and easy policy.
1. Edit
2. Delete
3. Lock
4. Delete
How this works.
Once we have received a Report Bad Post message via email, we view the post and if there is any content that is offensive it will be edited.
If all the text in the message is offensive it will be deleted.
It the thread gets derailed to a point where it is going nowhere we will either lock it down or delete completely.
Lastly, IC has been added as a Moderator to the Off Topic Section of MyADSL to bring it up to a total of 3 with BTTB and Antowan.

And also provide forumites with a way to say whatever they want.
Or.. is the thinking by Mods, that it might be too potentially 'explosive' - as given the increasing public profile, and observation of MyAdsl - by the various Powers That Be - it could provide them with ammunition to hurt the Forum and its causes?

Telkom have already stated that this forum is Unmoderated.
Not sure what they meant as the forum has got Moderators.
Telkom should understand by now that there is thousands if not millions of people that are not happy with their product and service, so anyone letting off a little steam is warranted.
