Default Train hits school bus near CT

Hectic, one of my collegues drove past there this morning. Apparently the Taxi driver drove around the traffic booms and then train hit them. He also heard from a traffic cop there that 7 kids died, 3 are still stuck in the wrekage and driver made it out alive. I hope he gets 10 life sentences.

When the fsck will the cops actually start focusing on the lawlessness that is Taxi's...

They cause more bloody accidents and deaths than they're worth.

Heard this on the radio this morning. It happened at the Buttskop level crossing in Blackheath - I know exactly where that is because I use that crossing when I go visit family.

Oh, and it's 8 kids who died - they were already dead when the paramedics got there.

    These damn taxi drivers!

Do they not appreciate anyone elses lives but their own?

Not even their own; not if they can pull off such life-threatening moves. That driver was just lucky that he escaped with his life.

    Follow-up article on News 24 http://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/Ne...scene-20100825

ER24 spokesperson Andre Visser said there was "total chaos" on the scene, where paramedics found the bodies of the eight children aged between eight and 11.

Two injured children had to be cut out of the wreckage and they were taken to hospital with the five other seriously injured children.

Police spokesperson Colonel Billy Jones said the accident happened at 06:45 while the children were passing through Blackheath on their way to school.

A culpable homicide investigation would be conducted to establish who was responsible.

how can money generation be the sole purpose of a traffic department? surely restoring rule of law on the roads is more important. they have lost control of the teaxis and now that lawlessness has permeated through normal drivers as well

shame that is so sad. you kiss your children goodbye in the morning and you expect to see them when you get home at night.

it is about time they make examples of everyone who is reckless on the roads.
