Neotel WiMax 2MB vs ADSL 4MB Uncapped?

I have been using the Neotel Prime Unlimited Option for almost 2 years now, then they have decided to discontinue the package, now they are offering me a free "upgrade" to 2MB Wimax or do you think i should move over to ADLS?

You know there is an edit button? omw i shouldnt be the one to tell him this (im worse :) )

Anyway, never used wimax before but adsl is nice becuase weather doesnt affect it but im guesing it costs alot more because of the R413 line rental plus the phone rental for like R100 then data...

LoL, yes you are.

I have used Wimax and weather never affected me as well. Same low pings are adsl. I would go for it, cause how long do you think you are going to wait for Telkom to do the install?

BTW, how much are you paying? R999? I assume you will be paying the same for the Wimax?

Bought mine @ PCint for R1811 and I see now they have the I5 760 @ R1800, just 3 weeks after I bought mine, so ja.

As you can see, I OCed mine and it is running like a dream. Even if you don't plan to OC, I think it is still pretty fast.
 
R999 No Extra Charge for 2MB Wimax, That is a R700 saving, Now i have got to wait until they do the "coverage" check, I think i should try it for a few months,
Currenlty i download about 90GB a month on th e Prime Package,

You should be able to do more than that on the Wimax connection. ;)

Try it, I am pretty sure you won't regret it.

Main difference is the ADSL guys have got a bit of service ( not the best but some ) whereas Neohell has NO service.

Trust me when I say ADSL might be more, but you will have a crapload less headaches with them than with Neotel
 
mmm, thanx... I will post my review on the WiMax Service...(once/if i get there),

If I should go the ADSL route, who you recommended? I am looking for Un-Shaped even Semi-Shaped

Maybe give Mweb a try, they do shape and have unshaped services too, plus they don't throttle you if you use a certain amount of bandwidth
 
I don’t have WiMax Coverage... so I need to move over to a ADSL account, Now the question is, is it better to move to a 4MB Line Shaped or 384 line unshaped? I want to stay within budget of about R999 (including line rental). . .
