Interesting for sure. Is this something being done in conjunction with Skype on an official basis or some innovation by Openweb themselves?

    Anyone know more real details?

Are people really so desperate for some free calls to landlines? I'm not.

I used this last night to catchup with a few friends. For some of the calls I could have used my free off peak cell minutes but gave this a go instead. The call quality was good and everything worked well. Very nice Openweb !!

I think now that the dust is settling around cheaper ADSL bandwidth the value added services will start to appear. Providers are going to need something to distinguish them from the rest.

Usually my skype calls are of extremely high quality.
Tested this last night... really REALLY bad quality.
Couldn't hear a word from the other person as it breaks and static is so loud its unbearable.

My experience is the opposite. EXCELLENT audio quality! And hey, it's free!

Great initiative. Not so sure all past clients should have access though...

Wonder what the final product will be? This kicks the FNB thing in the knuts. Need more small providers driving these innovative products.

    Go OPENWEB!
