    Exclamation Samsung Wave Giveaway

This week we are giving away a new Samsung Wave smartphone – the first phone based on Samsung’s new OS bada

Samsung launched its much anticipated Samsung Wave smartphone earlier this year, and through a generous sponsorship from Cellucity we are offering one of these phones as a prize in this week’s giveaway.

To stand a chance to win this Samsung Wave phone, simply comment on why you think this will make a good addition to your current gadget collection in this thread.

Competition closes on Thursday 9 September

    About the Samsung Wave

The Samsung Wave is the first smartphone based on Samsung’s new, open smartphone platform, bada. Samsung has a total eco-system around the bada platform including Samsung Apps which are available in 80 countries and they are committed to increasing the premium content and applications pool through collaboration with partner companies and developers.

It would be cool to give the Samsung Wave a spin and use the bada mobile OS.

I currently have a crappy Nokia phone and I'm not entirely sure whether I need a smartphone. Would be great to see what all the hype is about and how this OS compares to what Blackberry phones are using.

More seriously: Gadgets are great fun! I would like to try this new gadget & see what it has to offer me.

Reading up on it, it seems like a great piece of quality technology

I figure it would be great fun to try out this new OS, plus it will give me a challenge of trying to port Android onto the Waves hardware

Looks like a great phone. Not so sure about the Bada OS, but I am sure I can load Android on it

Bada OS coupled with a 800x480 display and a 1Ghz ARM processor!? That's got to be worth a try!
