    So what is the cheapest one can pay a month for the iphone 4 on a 24 month contract?

    all 12 months global warranty as per normal

    @ Schalk79... our allocation tonight for V&A still doesnt cover our pre-order list...

    We have been advised by Vodacom we are getting a healthy allocation at our Durban Gateway store

    @Cellucity, do you know .... Vodacom Customer Care says I qualify for an upgrade on 9Oct (2 months before my 24 comes up). I gather I can do it 7 days before that, so around 2Oct - do you know if this is 100% correct.

    yeah 7 days before the actual upgrade date you can process the upgrade.

    Nice nice, many thanks for that info, music to my ears. Now I just need to hope there is stocks in Cape Town in 10 days time so I can get my iPhone4 before I go on holiday next month.

    Probably the most affordable is the Talk 75 package @ R189 per month with the finance option of another R189 per month - Total monthly cost R378 and you get 75 anytime minutes

    Cheapest is Straight Business package at R185 per month with finance option of another R119 - Total R304 per month.

    Both these options on 16GB

    Guys please don't get your hopes up too high as stock is REALLY limited here. Out of an order for 20 of each 16G and 32G I have been allocated 3 x 16G and 1 x 32G. Maybe Vodacom are holding onto the stock for their Vodaworld launch, otherwise the stock has gone to China (who are also launching this week). But the stock is ridiculously low, I don't even know why they are bothering to launch with such low levels. It just sets people up for disappointment and as usual the stores will get the blame.

    Ha Ha! I wouldn't dare! But I was tempted...

    The 18 people waiting for 32Gigs would lynch me in a second. However, that said, how do you pick one of them? Simply cannot, so it will probably lie on my desk tempting me until such time as we get more stock.

    @Cellucity - is the cost of the iPhone 120 package still the same? Do we still just get 250MByte data included while Vodacom have dropped their databundle rates elsewhere? Feeling a bit cheated to renew my iPhone contract for another 2 years at the same rates while broadband prices have dropped across the board.
