Getting adsl and telkom line installation, what's the best option?

Hi guys just need some advice if you've ever had to get a line installation and adsl from telkom.
I'm moving to a new place where there is no phone line and the cost will be

Billed Residential service (exchange connection) Notes 1b/5d 430.70 491.00

to install I assume, after that will there be any other costs you know of?

I will buy the modem to avoid signing a contract if it benefits me.
I was offered by Telkom to pay R704 for 9GB at 4MB speed per month on a non-contract basis, but I didn't proceed because there were installation costs that the call center helper didn't know what would cost so I was feeling suspicious.

Order a Closer 1 package. Installation is free. Change it the next month to whatever you want.

I think you should rather order the Closer 2 package. IIRC the free installation on Closer 1 was just a special, which is over now.

Check with the sales lady, last time i checked closer 1 was free install, but you cannot downgrade your account for 12 months (to get past the loophole)

Why would any one want a TelkomInternet account - their support is so terrible?
Trust me if you go for a Axxess, Mweb or Webafrica account your life will be allot easy when it come to changing accounts, top ups and support and you'll probably find it will be cheaper too.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong because things might have changed but when I ordered my line and ISP through Webafrica - I payed no installation just configured the router myself and there support are a pleasure to deal with compared to Telkom.
