I need help with my mail sync with gmail, it worked fine until I reinstalled belle , my mtnloaded mail sync is working fine, so I guess the email settings are ok

Try syncing it via Exchange. Mine works great via Exchange.

Got my N8 back from JHB and believe it or not...same problem! Took it back to Tygervalley and the Lady told me to buy a 64k sim card and do a sim swop did that....same problem.

Try this to downgrade your software. Then just download Nokia Anna via Nafivirm.

@arneduppi....thanks for links but can only do that when the N8 is out of warranty.

Just downloaded "Extra Buttons" for my phone. I see Nokia Store now has an option to pay using your phone bill as well as credit card . Pretty sweet! Extra Buttons really gives the phone more functionality. Gonna download a new theme tonight and give my phone a new look

I've logged a call with FNB Connect, but in the meantime I found that if I hit the menu button, and then go back in, the flashing stops.

I also learnt from the support line that the FNB app (banking) includes a phone and is apparently much better.
