It's just happened to me on my phone now, the first thing I noticed was my Google Talk client went offline, I tried to go to mybroadband.co.za but couldn't, www.cellc.co.za still worked though.

When it happens to me i cant connect to anything, not even the cell c page. If i can access the cell c page then everything else works also, never one or the other.

Most likely you have not completed RICA.

I had the same problem for a few minutes. Closed Cell C dashboard, removed modem, inserted, restarted dashboard and it worked fine since

Did u also load those newer drivers on the other thread or just do the dash fix?
Just curious to see if it what you have happening is still going on with those latter drivers

Oh my goodness, that looks complicated. I've had about 12 hours of sleep over the last 3 nights, I may need to nap first.

Before you go breaking things, bear in mind I have seen this issue with an E1820 plugged into my MikroTik RB411 router (so no Windows drivers involved) and also with a Cell-C SIM in my Nokia N900 (so no E1820 involved).

Have you ever been able to visit any website other www.cellc.co.za with this SIM, or does it work normally for a while and then you find yourself only able to access www.cellc.co.za?

The reason I ask is I think there may be two different problems here with the same symptom.

If the SIM hasn't been RICA'd / activated the symptom is not being able to register on the network at all, see here.

    This problem is still happening.

My router's been connected for just over 24 hours, suddenly couldn't access any other websites besides www.cellc.co.za. Disconnect then reconnect and all is well.

Ginggs would it be worth a try to disable the SDcard to see if that got anything to do with it?
