    Yawn!

I've just cancelled mine. I wanted to use it for downloading after hours, but I didn't feel comfortable leaving a Vodacom contract SIM connected all night. The fear of going out-of-bundle (even at the reduced Advanced rates) caused me to lose too much sleep.

Could not agree more! Cell-C contract prices for 5Gb per month at R299 including a 21mbps capable modem is a way better option ... wake up Vodacom!

And when do us prepaid customers get something back for financing Vodacom?

Only available for a limited amount of time
Only to be used when you are sleeping
Only an Extra 500 megs or so, which carries the risk of getting a bill of R2000 in out of bundle charges (that's why its available for contract users only )

Vodacom, can I ask you......are you SERIOUS?

no really? is this a Joke?

You guys better pull up your socks soon guys, and that is not a joke.

Oh yes, I forgot about talking points.
Buy a phone, and only when you have spent at least R1000 on prepaid airtime (hopefully your phone and simcard won't be stolen in the meantime), do you qualify for 5% discount on calls or 100 free sms's.

Whereas a contract customer signs a piece of paper, gets his R8000 phone and all the benefits of the contract, uses data, makes calls and *hopefully* pays his account at the end of the month*24.

I have held onto my vodacom no. since 2003.... might just port it to 8.ta for the cheaper data bundles. Getting much better 3G service from them than Vodacom at the moment.

I've been prepaid subscriber with vodacom since 2002, but since i changed recently to 8.ta i noticed my prepaid money barely goes down compared to vodacom

    Plus love the free minutes

Apparently for every 3 minutes of talktime that YOU recieved from any other mobile network to 8ta, you get 1 minute free to call.
Has joined the Cell C Revolution... Whoosh!!
