I had lamb curry and a rooti today. Bought it from Eastern Bazaar here in Cpt. Real cheap and excellent curry!! R35 for a portion big enough for 2 people!!

You could literally put any food item you like in there to make them more interesting. My favourite is caramelised onions, cheese sauce and chilli...

Poke a skewer through the middle, then using an angled knife, cut through to the skewer creating a spiral pattern. Then cook them. This keeps them straight when you cook them; they look pretty cool; your sauces stay in them instead of falling out; onions stay in there etc. Best way to cook hotdog sausages.Hehe interesting
I also love wrapping them in bacon and cooking them...
