Dont laugh about my 3dMark05 score

My score is low, really low, and i need help to up it, or someone to re-assure me it is my screencard.

My rig:

P4 3.2 Prescott
512Mb Hynix Ram PC400
MSI 865PE Neo 2 Mobo
Leadtek A340 VidCard (basically FX 5200 with 128MB Ram)

My score.....250

If i replaced that card with the "Leadtek nVIDIA GF 6800 GT 256MB GDDR3 256-Bit AGP 8X" would i see a dramatic difference or would i just see a few points of improvement?

but another thing is 512 meg ram u need to upgrade that

why not buy the 6600 gt
and another gig of ram

or just buy them both

because 512 meg ram is really not alot for mark05

or any new game

da 5200 is even graphics card - solitaire lags on there

jumping up to dual channel makes a huge difference in 3dmark05, also running PCIeX helps a lot

You should see at least 4000 points with a 6800.

naaa there is slgith differences between different makes

but not a huge amount

unless you buy alienware who overclock the card before they sell em
