    Default Signal Hill on fire

Signal Hill is burning, 2 choppers currently bringing in water to douse it.

The choppers, shoppers, Waterfront or the mountain burning?

    I thought I could smell a fire...

Tons of helicopters over my house, I guess I had better go have a beer somewhere and hope my house is still here when I get back

Still a bit of smoke, but looks like it's out now. I got the stupid FNB building blocking some of my view, so there could still be some smouldering patches behind there.

So someone made a signal on a place called Signal Hill? Hardly newsworthy.

Damn - another one. Bit to the left this time.
Houses not in danger, YET, but this one looks more serious. Not as acessible as the previous fire.
Helicopters back on scene thank goodness.

Got 4 choppers on duty now, bombing the fire with water. Seems they trying to prevent it from spreading to the houses below.
Unfortunately didn't bring my camera to work so no pics.

A fixed wing aircraft has joined the fray, and is also dropping something on the fire - still a way to go but looks like they are getting it under control now.

    WELL DONE GUYS!!!
