Default Battlefield Bad Company 2 Corrupt Patch

Ey! I'm still new to the community just in case. So, I'm having problems installing the new patch for BFBC2, version 602574. Each time i try to install the error message "Some installation files are corrupt. Please download a fresh copy." appears. As well as "CRC failed in patch_515195_602574\patch62.p
    Unexpected end of archive"
I therefore downloaded the patch again(16 hours - 384kbps). Same error occurs. And i don't really want to download it again cause I'm with Telkom, 5GB cap. Does anyone know anyway to fix this error. Also is this a general error with computer software, or is it something to do with the patch itself. I know it says "patch62" is corrupt, but it is possible to be something else. And also if possible, could somebody please upload or email me the "patch62" file. It's only about 64MB in size.

Hey i see your in Durban if you want i recently wrote a few disc`s with the patch for friends.

They are at videosun in westville. Just go there and ask for a disc Tyron left they should give you one.

Note i did this for some of the okes from SGS so yeah.

    Hey, Timer

I've got the same problem: I see that you've got a crc on patch 62.p. I've got a CRC error for patch 92.p and also downloaded it twice. Would it be possible for you to give me patch 92.p pretty please? Maybe upload it somewhere - Rapidshare or something.

    I will appreciate immensely.

You can download all the patches on local herehttp://gaming.do.co.za/search/BFBC.(Its right at the bottom of the page)

This one is also on local but I don't know if all the patches are included.ftp://ftp.games.saix.net/battlefield_bad_company_2/

Make sure you use a download manager like flashget. Otherwise it might corrupt on the download.

Ok ill just add it to here seeing i have the same issue.

I got a craving for the game, launched it. Game auto updated for what feels like months then i wake up one day to find an error message. This has happened around 3 times now and downloading the patch which is over 2gb on 384adsl really isnt fun...AT ALL!!

    Any ideas guys?

Get yourself a Webafrica 1Gig account (http://www.webafrica.co.za/home/adsl/prepaid/ - local is R15 for a gig and that's all you should need),then grab the client and patches from
    http://ftp.wage.co.za/wage/Patches/BF2BC2/
which falls under webafrica's Freezone meaning you don't pay a cent for the downloads and it doesn't count towards your cap. May take a while but I guess if you can't get to anybody with a fast line or Disks for it this beats blowing your cap

Hmm, i cant seem to edit my previous post but just summor info. Im not worried about my cap...it just takes forever, i already have a 10gb local only IS account.

    I downloaded BFBC2_PC_Client_R10_602574_Patch

It unpacks right to the end then it gets the error message which says:
    CRC Failed in patch_515195_602574\patch95.p
    Unexpected end of archive

I really dont see chance to download another 2.4gb file. Are there any other options? If not then im afraid im just going to throw the game into the bin.

Tried unzipping the patch file manually?

Using a torrent like http://bitsnoop.com/bfbc2-pc-client-...q19927892.html should be able to verify the individual files and redownload those in question

I would say with that error your bin is going to eat well.

There is nothing you can do unless you downloaded it with software that can check the data and fix it by downloading the corrections like torrents.
.... and thanks for all the fish.

Yep looks like your download or source is bad, recommend you allow the extraction to run, then download a torrent, stop the torrent, paste the extracted files into the torrent download destination overwriting the files, then resuming the torrent. It'll check the individual files and attempt to complete any missing sections after which you should be able to complete your update

If any of this is unclear reply and I'll try to clarify
