I have adobe digital editions installed on the tab but on hitting the download button i get a message from the download manager " content not supported ". This is my first digital book download so at a loss what needs to be done

Try downloading on a PC then transfer it to the tab...

or if the tab can't read the epub format then use a program called Calibre and convert it to PDF or another suitable format...

Thanks for reply. Downloaded the epub file to the pc - no problems - used Calibre to try and convert but a ADE protected window opened - dead end there - I have authorised my device with password and username - one good thing - but I have tried to download ADE app from two different sources and the download manager just tells me " unable to download not supported" and the one download site was ADE for Samsung Galaxy Tab. This very simple downloading is becoming an embarrassment
