So I'm in search of a new ISP.

I looked at OW gold and it's a bit of trouble to convince my dad to pay R470 p/m for internet. Next up - Cybersmart.

I searched the forum and found they have a lot of T&C so no need to point that out.

How does cybersmart accounts perform overall? It's a 15gig capped account so I assume it will perform better than uncapped?

Also, I couldn't find it anywhere. Is this account shaped or unshaped?

Any other comments are welcome.
 
I have it and it works a lot better than some of the unlimited packages out there.

For 299 I think its great.

I have the 512 version now though and its worth the extra cash...

Oh wow, I totally missed the part where it says on the site "Unshaped bandwidth" silly me.

Well I'll see if anyone else reply and decide. It seems to be the best fit for what I can get and what my dads wallet can afford. :D

They perform brilliantly, always get the fastest possible speed on my line, capped accounts will always perform better than uncapped accounts, no matter what ISP.

Cybersmart only sells unshaped bandwidth, so you will get the full speed of your line.
