This happened to me while trying to download the third update which was about 4.5 megs. I switched the download from Wi-Fi to 3G and this fixed the problem.

forget HTC ,leaf or any of our lame cell providers. check out http://www.xda-developers.com/ for ways to update your device. read the instructions and take your time, getting root for your device is well worth it. Cyanogen is a fricken LEGEND!

100% agree. Screw the useless service providers. Get yourself a real rom.

Sent from my GT-I9000 on Darky's rom sent to me by little green robots eating apples

Has anyone with an HTC Legend received an official Froyo update in SA over any mobile network?

HTC / Leaf have once again promised updates by a certain date and not delivered - way to go guys...

This thread hasn't been touched in a while, but I'm going to ask...

How can I get an update to 2.2 for a HTC Wildfire. The menu says the phone is up to date. It's running 2.1.1 HTC say my network should be offering me ver 2.2, but Vodacom aren't / the phone can't pick it up from Vodacom.

You guys not heard of www.xda-developers.com or www.slatedroid.com?

Upgraded my tabs at slatedroid and flashed numerous ROMs from XDA on my HD2 and DesireHD. Why wait for local providers (unless the warranty thing bothers you of course).

2.2 is not yet released for the Wildfire.

    3 Reasons:
    - It takes so much time researching, then trying a rom, then setting up everything, just to find there's a bug or a problem
    - The HTC Sense launcher is not available on the new roms
    - Bricking is a risk

BUT maybe it's worth while for portcullis, 2.1.1 is ancient and 2.2 has significant improvements.

I'll wait. Put a phone with an ancient OS in one hand and a phone with no OS in the other and let's see which one can make calls.
