Sorry to hear man!! Early hours of tomorrow morning and you should be up again!!! We lucky to have come back on at 8pm. 4.30pm today about 30% was restored and at 8pm a further 30%+, the balance early morning....

We have been having some problems now for a week or two though there by us. a Few days ago I was woken up by a weird noise. I listened and it was my HiFi that kept on switching on and off. The power would go down and then a few seconds later come back on. It kept on doing this so I plugged out my TV and HiFi in case it blows or something. Very VERY irritating. That power better be up when I get home tonight. I get very very grumpy if I cant have a hot shower at night@!

Exact same thing happened in Norwood about 2 weeks ago. Power went off about 10pm and 4 hours later I was woken by the air-conditioner in the room beeping as it powered up, just enough juice to power up and then die again, did it about 5 or 6 x within a 3 minutes period then the power came on and stayed on!! Who the hell knows what these guys (eskom) are really doing...??
